Did you know that you are uniquely designed for a divine purpose and that you have a special gift that only you can share with this world? The answer is a resounding YES and I want that to sink deeply into your soul today!
This is a special blog post dedicated to my two beautiful cousins who are truly empowered women, the "Barber Sisters"-Elizabeth and Jeanette. Not only are they beautiful on the outside, they radiate beautiful energy from within that is breathtaking and inspiring. These two girls along with their amazing brother and father (Michael & Michael Barber), continue to bravely carry on the legacy of their dear mother, Jeanie-Beth Barber who passed away on November 28, 2020 and is very much loved and cherished.

I had the honor of chatting with these girls in a fun discussion of their amazing gifts with their advice on how to stay balanced while keeping your joy and passion a priority.

Elizabeth calls herself a "vintage enthusiast." She is a young entrepreneur and the founder of Honeyluxe Vintage in January of 2021. Through her business she desires to inspire other young people to enjoy sustainable fashion that is not only "ethically-sourced" but also affordably priced. Elizabeth taught herself how to sew and design clothes using a sewing machine that her mother gave to her at a young age. She had no idea that it would one day lead to the start of her business that she is excited to share today. Not only does she balance school work, volleyball and running a business, she also has her own Youtube Channel where she shares practical everyday tips for feeling beautiful and confident in your skin. Jeanette is a talented artist and rising ballet star. She has a passion for drawing people and expressing their purest emotion through her sketches. "The eyes" she states particularly captivate her. When she is not sketching or doing her homework, Jeanette is practicing her dance moves. I feel so honored to now be dancing at the same ballet studio as this gorgeous ballerina. She states she loves everything about ballet and brings her natural gift of poise and grace to the barre and studio floor. She stays on top of her to-do list while maintaining balance by having at least 3 planners on hand for time management, something that I plan to adopt lol.
What is so incredible about these two empowered young ladies is not only their undeniable gifts but their resilient choice to continue in the things that bring them joy even in the face of challenging circumstances. While it hasn't been easy, they remain committed to God, to their school work, family and to those things that make their souls smile. Their intention is to "just have fun" while empowering others to do the same! I am immensely proud of these two ladies and I am excited to see all that God has in store for them in their present and future.
