Front Row Seat

A couple of weekends ago we had a warm spell in Boston that welcomed in November, so guess where I went...?

I took myself on a date to the beach!

To my surprise, there was hardly anyone there. With excitement, I pulled up my hot pink chair close to the shoreline and got all set up. All afternoon I just basked in the vastness of the cotton candy sky above me, the sound of the ocean waves before me and the cool sand beneath my toes.

I had a front row seat in the beauty of God’s creation without spending a dime to experience it.

I believe some of our most awe-inspiring moments in life, are those moments that are completely free. It amazes me that we can literally just step outside in nature and witness so much beauty that is healing and rejuvenating to the soul.

Could it be that experiencing joy is not found in monetary value but in gratitude for the gift of all that we already have? My answer is 100% yes!

As Thanksgiving is coming up in this season of COVID, I am even more aware of the simple blessings all around me to enjoy. Simple becomes HUGE when our eyes are fully open to see.

Where is your front row seat waiting for you today? It may be a lot closer to you and a lot less expensive than you think. That front row seat simply requires your full presence and awareness of how truly blessed you are. Nothing more and nothing less.

What are you waiting for!? There is so much beauty that awaits!
