New Beginnings

What new beginning are you experiencing today?
Especially in this time of COVID-19, we are each facing in some shape or form a new beginning-in our careers, surroundings or social lives.
During my own personal time of new beginning with my move to Boston with my brother Robbie, I have been reflecting on some aha moments that I want to share with you:

1) Letting Go
For me, new beginnings are so challenging. Why is that? I believe there is always something we have to let go of in order to step into our new beginnning. It feels risky to leave what is familiar and comfortable then accept what is new and uncomfortable at first. This is a hard step but a necessary one in our journey of new beginning.
2) Seizing the Moment
The positive side of letting go is that we now have room to welcome in something new and beautiful in our lives. We create space to grow with resilience and rise to a level of excellence that we would have otherwise never thought possible. Don't be so consumed with the idea of letting go that you don't seize the moment and miss all the rich opportunities around you.
3) Holding Sacred the Non-negotiables
While there are things we must let go of to fully embrace the new, I invite you to identify your "non-negotiables." These are those things that keep us joyful and are true to who we are. My non-negotiables are ballet, painting, connection with my love ones, and staying rooted in a faith community. No matter where we may find ourselves, we can re-establish our non-negotiables again. While they may look a little different to fit the new reality of our experience, we still feel the same warmth, joy and blessing in our souls.
So my friends, I want to encourage you that your unfamiliar experience can be in fact a beautiful new beginning! Let go and seize every moment to the absolute fullest while staying true to your core.

Share your light and make it count!
The new view is breathtaking!
Love,
Chloe J
