Ruby Slippers

Hello readers!

It’s been a while since I had a moment to reflect on all the transitions taking place in my life right now. It’s been a beautiful ride lol.

To sum up my experience since the last time I posted on my blog, the title that immediately came to my mind was “Ruby Slippers.”

I love that moment in the Wizard of Oz, when Dorothy realized she never really needed the ruby slippers to get to her destination, she had the power within herself all along.

What I find most breathtaking about my current experience is that God has given me the opportunity to work in an amazing community that is not only strengthening my professional skill sets but also allowing me to grow in the authentic passions of my heart that I have had since I was a little girl.

One of my greatest passions in life is to inspire people of all ages while championing inner beauty, resilience, and self-compassion. Now I am being stretched on a whole other level to develop this passion and share it with the world.

While I needed every single part of my story to bring me to this point, in reality, God already placed power and potential in the seed of my passion all along.

I believe the very passion and “knowing” that’s burning in your soul is directly connected to your purpose. Don’t let go of it or settle for anything less. Instead allow yourself to grow and blossom in your passion. It’s going to take time and a whole lot of patience to refine it, but I promise you each step is worth it.

From my humble experience, I have come to know that my “inner power” is the conscious decision to come in alignment and partnership with God in His calling on my life.

As Oprah wisely says, "You already know who you are and how to fulfill your destiny. And your ruby slippers are ready to carry you home. You have the power to discover your purpose and live your greatest truth."

So with God on your side, you have had the power all along my darling. Let’s be brave and take another step in the direction of that inner power today!
